New from Anthony Hayes: Aha Studio
Get found by the people searching for what you sell.
Search stopped linking and started answering — so are the AI engines citing you, or a competitor? The AEO Citation Checker enters a domain and up to three prompts, runs them through your own AI key, and tells you plainly whether the engine cited your site (linked it), only mentioned it, or left you out entirely. Free, runs in your browser, and nothing you enter is stored on this site.

How to use it
- Enter your domain (e.g.
anthonyhayes.io) and, optionally, your brand name so it catches unlinked mentions too. - Add up to 3 prompts — the real questions people ask AI about your topic (“best SEO tool for affiliates”, “how do I get cited by ChatGPT”).
- Add your own AI key (OpenAI, Gemini or Anthropic) — it’s saved in your browser only, never sent to this site.
- Read the verdict for each prompt: Cited (your URL was linked), Mentioned (named but not linked), or Not mentioned — with the source link where there is one.
Why AEO matters now
When someone asks ChatGPT or Gemini a question, the engine answers directly and credits a handful of sources. If you’re not one of them, you’re invisible at the exact moment of intent — no click, no visit, no sale. This checker is the fastest way to see where you currently stand, one engine and three prompts at a time.
Frequently asked questions
Is it free? Yes — completely, no signup. You bring your own AI key, so there’s nothing metered by us.
Which engines does the free tool cover? The three that work from a web page — OpenAI, Gemini and Anthropic. Perplexity and all four engines at once, unlimited prompts, competitor share-of-voice and CSV export are in the AEO Citation Tracker Chrome extension.
Is my API key or data stored? No. Your key and inputs stay in your own browser; nothing is sent to or saved on this site.
