Search.
An active, useful X account is one more place Google and AI answers can find you.
Your audience.
X is one of the fastest ways I know to grow one. Good replies put you in front of people who’ve never seen you, and some of them follow.
Your own traffic.
Followers can join your email list. Anyone you send to your site can be retargeted with ads, and so can anyone who watches a YouTube video you share. That’s a traffic source you own.
It all starts with posting useful, interesting things. And replying is one of the most widely used ways to grow on X, because every good reply is a post in front of someone else’s audience.
Now, I know what you’re thinking. “Tony, I don’t have time for another daily task.”

Every post gets a score out of 100:

Anything under 55 gets thrown away before you ever see it.
And the numbers that shouldn’t be left to an AI’s mood (traction, freshness, heat)? Those are worked out in code, the same way every time.
It helps you write a human reply
Pay close attention to this one, because it’s the part I care about most.
On any card, open Help me write a human reply and click Suggest angles. You get 3 to 5 angles for that specific post, each with a hint about what you could bring to it: something you tried, a number you’ve seen, a mistake you made.
Pick one. Add your take in a line or two. Click Write reply.
It writes the reply around your take and keeps your facts exactly as you gave them.
“But Tony, what if I don’t have a take on this one?”
Leave it empty and you still get an honest reply on that angle. It never invents a story, a result or a number to fill the gap. Ever.
It tightens what you already wanted to say
Sometimes you know exactly what you want to say. You just want it to sound better.
Type it rough into Write your own reply, hit Rewrite mine, and it comes back cleaner, in your voice. Every fact, name, number and point you wrote stays in. It won’t add a pitch, a link or a claim you didn’t make.
Reply or quote, written separately
Each card gives you a reply (joins their thread) and a quote (goes on your timeline with their post embedded, so it has to stand on its own).
Different jobs, so they’re written differently. And when a reply is the better move, the quote tab tells you so.
It keeps your product out of most replies
You can tell it what you sell. Here’s the rule: at most 2 replies per scan are allowed to mention a product. If the AI tries a third, it swaps in a version with no pitch.
Why so strict?
Help people most of the time and mention a tool some of the time, and you look like someone worth following. Pitch every reply and you look like a bot.

X’s search operators are powerful. They’re also a pain to remember.
The search builder writes them for you: exact phrases, words to leave out, from or to certain accounts, minimum likes or replies, language, dates, with or without media.
Build it once, save it, and it’s one click every morning after that.
Grow with the follow playbook I’ve used on three accounts
Now, listen up, because this is where it gets really good.
I built the Engagers tab because this works. It’s how I grew three separate X accounts in three different niches.
The playbook is simple:
- 1Find posts aimed at your exact audience that have a decent amount of engagement.
- 2Follow the people who comment on, repost, quote and like that post.
That’s it. They’ve just shown you what they care about.
Doing that by hand used to take me days at a time. The growth was real… and so was the grind.

Open a post’s reposts, quotes or likes, a thread’s replies, or a niche account’s followers, and click Scan engagers. You get the people ranked warmest first (someone who replied beats someone who liked) and by how well their bio matches your topics.
Then it scores whether each person is likely to follow you back. Check follow-back odds looks at their follower and following counts and flags the accounts that rarely follow back, so you don’t waste a follow. It keeps a tracker of who you followed and who followed you back.

Learn what a big account’s audience rewards
Open the profile of someone whose audience you’d love to reach, click Mine this profile, and you get:
- who follows them and what they want
- the themes that earn engagement (with the posts that prove it)
- the formats and hooks that work, and what flops
- where you overlap
- 4 to 6 post ideas built from your material
It reads what their audience wants and writes from what you’ve actually done. It never rewrites their posts (that’s the common move, and it fills the timeline with the same recycled takes).
Works on LinkedIn too
Open your LinkedIn feed and scan it the same way. You get scored posts with comment drafts written for LinkedIn (longer, 2 to 5 sentences).
The LinkedIn reader is even stricter than the X one: it never clicks anything and never opens anyone’s profile. You copy the comment and post it yourself.
Share Circle, for engagement groups
Here’s a problem I bet you’ve seen.
A group agrees to reply to each other’s posts. Everyone points the same AI at the same post. Ten minutes later there’s a pile of near-identical replies under it.
That looks automated because it is.
Share Circle reads the replies already on the post, works out which angles are taken, and drafts on the ones that aren’t. Then code checks every draft against the thread and against each other, and holds back anything too close. Add one thing you actually did and at least one draft is built on it.

Here’s how it’s built. There’s no posting permission in Reply Sniper and no posting code. The furthest it goes is putting a draft in X’s reply box or on your clipboard.

Will this get my account banned?
Reply Sniper never posts, likes, follows or DMs for you. It reads what’s already on your screen, and you do every action yourself. I can’t make promises about any platform’s rules, but it’s built to keep you in the driver’s seat for exactly that reason.
Do I need the X API?
No. It reads the page you’re logged in to, so there’s no API key for X and no monthly data cost.
Which AI do I need?
Any one of Anthropic (Claude), OpenAI, Google Gemini or OpenRouter. You paste your own key in Settings, and it stays on your computer.
What does a scan cost?
